West Bolz is a musical artist in Charlotte, NC. He plays a wide selection of music, from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, thru present, both instrumentally and vocally. He adds a touch of the tropical with his Brazilian fingerstyle guitar, Latin classics and a dash of gypsy rumba a la Gypsy Kings.
West can provide smooth background music, lead the party, or provide a variety of combos and bands. Solo acoustic, duo with percussion, or his rocking power trio, The One Trick Ponies, and more.
West performs frequently in the Charlotte region, either by himself, along with renown percussionists including Johnny Vergara and Rick Dior, or his electric band, The West Bolz Trio. West is director and producer for the Latin orchestra, Eta Carina. He also plays bass with the Brazilian band, Soul Brazil, which features Reinaldo Brahn. He can also be seen with various other groups including The Polyester Apocalypse, Furious George, Raycoustic (RIP Ray), Matt Stratford and more.
